Explanation: Time players all have knowledge of Time and everything about Time: the timelines, alpha or doomed, basically anything and everything.

The Seer of Time… just knows more. Since it’s a passive class, they’re more about strategy and how to be the alpha timeline. They can see events that will help with their team. However since it’s technically cheating if a Seer of Time can see everything happen, I think that a Seer of Time would either only be able to see what would definitely happen, or would only see what would keep their session as the alpha timeline.

Powers: If any of you play the game Bioshock Infinite (really good game, though you have to play the first two as well) there is one character named Elizabeth.

HUGE SPOILERS FOR THE GAME

Elizabeth was given the gift of being allowed to open portals, known as “tears” to alternate dimensions. They could be as dull as “a different colored towel, or tea instead of coffee,” as she claims, or as huge as…oh, you know WHO HER FUCKING DAD IS.

So in the end, she learns the protagonist, Booker DeWitt, was her father, but in a world where a baptism was accepted, (Booker fought at Wounded Knee and was offered a baptism to cleanse the blood of the Native Americans he killed there) Booker actually changes his name and becomes the big baddie Zachary Comstock. So there is where the timelines split, and where the cycle of the game’s plot begins. 20 years later, Booker is taken to the dimension with Comstock in it, and believes he’s taking Elizabeth to repay a debt he owes after gambling it all away, due to the tears, and that is where the game begins.

So in order to stop the cycle, and allow Elizabeth (or her proper name “Anna”) and Booker to stay together and have a happy life together, Elizabeth must kill Comstock before he was “born”. (“Smother him in the crib.”)

However this was the big reveal at the end of the game. How did this happen? This is where Bioshock Infinite relates back to a Seer of Time: The Siphon, which was holding back Elizabeth’s powers in a tower she’d been forced to live in her whole life, was destroyed at the end of the game. With her full powers, Elizabeth can now see every universe, and what lays in it.

When a Seer of Time ascends, they can see almost the same thing. So they would be able to see the point where the Alpha timeline could become a doomed one, or where Booker becomes Comstock. Being a Time player, the Seer could go back in Time, like Elizabeth’s tears, and fix what happened, like how Elizabeth was forced to kill her father.

I think the one exception would be any Void players in the Seer of Time’s session. I believe that a Void player, if they so choose, would be able to conceal their fate from the Seer’s eye. But once the Seer ascends to God Tier, the Void player would be unable to hide their fate until they ascended as well.

Before ascending a Seer would probably only have premonitions. One example is I was bringing an iPhone charger up to my room but I made a stop at the kitchen. So I thought in my head “I better not forget the charger when I bring my food up to my room.” So I bring the food upstairs, and lo and behold, holy shit I forgot my charger downstairs. Another is almost like a Seer would jinx things. Like they’d be like “At least it’s not ______. That would be really bad.” It’s a long shot, but I’ve been jinxing stuff a lot recently and I thought it might fit.
